How it all started

I was born and raised in Brazil, I grew up watching my mom baking cakes at home, I was always around her, but it never crossed my mind that one day I would become a Cake Maker. I was always traveling back and forth into Brazil and USA due to my husband’s job, back in 2013 I was a stay at home mom with two small children, I then had the idea to start baking some cupcakes with Brazilian fillings to give out to my kids teachers, neighbors and people from my husband’s office. After hearing from them that those cupcakes were something that they had never tried before, I saw the potential I had within me. I then started trying new fillings with different cupcake flavors and the feedback continued to be encouraging.
One year after baking cupcakes I moved from Florida to Georgia and our Church pastor asked me if I could make his birthday cake. I gave it a shot and made a cake for the pastor’s 100 party guests, shortly after this event I began receiving calls from customers willing to order cakes for all types of occasions, I then realized that is something I love doing and decided to invest more time learning about the industry and perfecting my techniques. Here I am now, officially a baker, following my mom’s steps.
